I can't believe it's almost 2010...

...Can you guys believe that? It's been a decade since 2000. Since when did that happen? It was just the 90's!

At any rate, break has been....boring. Honestly. I mean, I love that I get to see all of you guys again, of course. But being home on break is definitely less interesting then being at school. And with all the holiday festivities nearly over with having another 2 full weeks off of school is actually a little daunting. I have no idea how to spend my time. This definitely means we're going to have to plan lots of fun activities!!
Despite my boredom, I've been pretty consistently busy, actually. It's just that in the down time between things I get overwhelmed by the fact that I have nothing to do. This week is looking to be very full, however. I've been working for the past 3 days and I have 2 more to go for this week. Being back at the Scotland House...is truly terrible. I'm definitely going to be looking for a different job for the summer. Preferably a restaurant in CW. They're all pretty expensive which means tips should also be good!
Tomorrow I have the late shift so I'm just looking forward to sleeping in, in the morning. Then Wednesday it's back to the 10-6 shift. It shouldn't be too bad since it'll be my last day for the week. Then I'm heading over to Josh's house to spend time with his family and also have a mario party rematch (since I lost so badly last time. :-S) I'm really glad that me and him have finally found a balance after all the stuff that happened. And we're getting back to being friends like we were during the play last year. On the 31st I'm headed up to Richmond to celebrate the coming of 2010 at the Allen House with Sammy, Kae, Andy and everyone else up there! I'll be back here on the 1st (we should definitely do something if people are available!). Then the 2nd Josh promised he'd take me to the Cheese Shop, he's driving. (Can you believe he's getting his license!? He was so fresh out the womb!). Then I'm tentatively headed back up to Richmond that night to spend the night and next morning/afternoon with Daniel. Then of course back to Williamsburg for Chrissy's party! So, like I said, a busy week!
I'm hoping my present boredom will subside in January. I'm just worried George will put me on the schedule a whole bunch which will inhibit my ability to make real plans. It's frustrating that I have to know when I need to request off just so I can make plans and nothing can be spur of the moment. Like, for example, Kae, Jen, and Lauren weren't able to come down in December because of all the snow so they said they'd come in January, but they don't have a solid idea of what dates so I can't request off, therefore making it nearly impossible for that to work out. Unless for some reason George decides to give me 3 or 4 days off in a row sometime. Or even more frustrating at the moment is trying to work around my schedule so I can see Dan. We were supposed to hang out on the 1st until he got put on the schedule for work. His family leaves town next week so we decided we could just reschedule for sometime later next week depending on when he was going to be up in Richmond for work. But he won't know his work schedule until later THIS week and George already made the schedule for the next two weeks, which means, yet again, making plans will probably prove to be ridiculously tricky. Obviously it doesn't help that in order to meet up it's an hour drive there and back. I feel so secluded and then feeling obligated to work makes that feeling even more intense! I'm just kind of pissed because if we were at school right now making plans and spending time with him wouldn't be hard at all. And now, when I'm really certain about the fact that I want to see him and spend time with him, we're on break and I'm realizing how hard it'll be to actually see him. And I swear to God, if I have to wait until the 16th to finally get back up to Richmond I'm going to...flip shit. Anyways, the work schedule will be up tomorrow and I guess I'll be figuring out things from there.

Well, this was kind of a boring post, but I'm just letting you all know what's up with me right now. What about you guys??
